As a contracted provider for the state of Tennessee Department of Children's Services, our program is administered through 2 branches: child care/security, & education, and we are required to meet all of the DCS standards for operation. We adhere to a Zero-Tolerance Policy for sexual abuse/harassment in accordance with PREA standards. This is a private-owned, state funded facility. All of our residents must be court-ordered or referred to us by DCS or the county court system.

MTJDC offers a safe, secure and professional environment for at risk youth.
At MTJDC we strive to increase the number of youth seeking permanency out of "the system" by helping them prepare to achieve successful, independent adult lives.
• Reporting abuse incident/s directly to the DCS Child Abuse Hotline at 1- 877-237-0004.
• Third parties, including parents, advocates, other residents, or any other person may report allegations of resident sexual abuse or sexual harassment internally by contacting any staff member or by filing an emergency grievance. It is suggested that in order to provide for immediate action, the third party directly contact the Executive Director or the Director at 1-931-490-0030 and notifying the person answering the telephone that the situation is an emergency. This information shall be posted in the common area of the facility.
